Ph. D. students Chengqian Cui and Xize Gao Won the Best Conference Paper Award at the IEEE-NSENS 2025 Conference

Recently, the 4th IEEE International Conference on Micro/Nano Sensors for AI, Healthcare, and Robotics (IEEE-NSENS 2025) was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. PhD students Chengqian Cui, Xize Gao, and Nianzhen Du delivered oral presentations. Among them, the paper co-authored by Cui Chengqian and Gao Xize was awarded the conference’s sole Best Conference Paper Award.

The IEEE-NSENS conference, sponsored by the IEEE Nanotechnology Council (NTC), focuses on cutting-edge research areas such as smart healthcare, flexible electronics, micro-nano sensing, and artificial intelligence, aiming to advance research in fields including sensors, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, healthcare monitoring, and robotics.

Chengqian Cui is reporting his conference paper.

The presentation by PhD students Cui Chengqian and Gao Xize from Professor Zhang Mingjun’s group, titled “Wireless Neural Modulation by Piezoelectric Nano-transducers Activated by Focused Ultrasound” introduced their latest progress in the research of neural regulation based on ultrasound-responsive micro-nano transducers, and ultimately won the BEST CONFERENCE PAPER AWARD.
