The National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) reported the latest research progress of our group on its official website, under the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project (Grant Nos. 62173200, 62350710211, and 62173198), the research team of Prof. Mingjun Zhang at Tsinghua University has made advancements in “sensing-driving-integrated supple control” of microneedle robots for oral drug delivery, in a cross-collaborative effort with the research team of Associate Prof. Jing Xu. The research results are based on the principle of “using intestinal and intestinal tissues to control the micro-needle robot”. The research result is entitled “Pain-free oral delivery of biologic drugs using intestinal peristalsis-actuated microneedle robots”. microneedle robots)” was published on 5 January 2024 in the journal Science Advances.
